🥁 Indoor Percussion – A Rapidly Rising Force

Since its founding in 2023, Enloe Magnet High School’s Indoor Percussion program has rapidly grown into one of the top-performing ensembles in North Carolina and a rising presence on the national stage. What began as a new program has quickly evolved through steady competitive success—earning a bronze medal in 2024, capturing a state championship and reaching WGI World Championships semifinals in 2025, and achieving a breakthrough season in 2026. That year, the ensemble earned first place at AIA Apex Friendship, secured back-to-back AIA State Championships, and achieved its highest-ever regional placement at the WGI Ashburn Regional. At the WGI World Championships, they won their preliminary round with a score of 89.313—the highest ever recorded by a North Carolina ensemble—marking a historic milestone and solidifying the program’s reputation for excellence, growth, and resilience.
