2025 Marching Band Schedule Marching Band absence request form
The Enloe Eagle Marching Band is the largest competitive organization at Enloe, providing high-quality, enriching, and fun experiences for its members—while supporting their academic growth.
Our students excel both on the field and in the classroom, striking a winning balance between music, competition, and academics. In the process, they learn to set priorities, manage time, and work hard—skills that serve them far beyond band season. It’s no surprise that our members are consistently among the best and brightest Enloe has to offer!
Character Development
Being a member of the Enloe Eagle Marching Band is all about hard work, dedication, and teamwork. Marchers memorize both music and complex marching movements (drill) for a full 7–8 minute show—while staying in nearly constant motion! Mastering this skill takes focus, patience, and determination, and in the process, students learn the value of responsibility to the group and the pride of succeeding together.
Every summer, our music and drill are custom-designed for the exact number of members in the band. Everyone has a role—there are no sidelines in Enloe Band! Every member matters every moment for a successful performance.
Need to be absent? Put it on the absence request form.
Commitment, Pride, and Team Spirit
Our band members understand that punctuality and preparation matter—because their actions impact the entire group. This sense of responsibility keeps them on time and motivates them to practice between rehearsals.
There are moments when focus is required for long stretches, sometimes in tough conditions, but our students rise to the challenge. The reward? A deep sense of pride and accomplishment. These shared experiences create a tight-knit community, building a strong sense of esprit de corps that unites the band on and off the field.
🌟 Student Leadership
In the Enloe Eagle Marching Band, our student leaders lead with selflessness, dedication, and integrity. Their mission? Serve others without seeking recognition—all while developing the leadership skills that will last a lifetime.
Great leaders are great followers first. They learned to listen and follow directions from staff and peers before stepping into leadership roles. Today, they often work behind the scenes, quietly ensuring the program runs smoothly—because the rewards of hard, selfless work are deeply satisfying.
Student leaders collaborate closely with staff and fellow leaders to plan, execute, and assess every aspect of our program. Along the way, they face challenges and conflicts that test their resolve—but these moments become powerful learning experiences, helping them grow more self-aware and resilient.
Leading peers in high school isn’t always easy. Doubt happens—but with the support of staff and fellow leaders, our students persevere, rising to the challenge and becoming trustworthy, capable, and inspiring leaders for the band.
Financial Aid
Participation in our extracurricular ensembles comes with additional costs, and families are asked to contribute their fair share. But no student should ever miss out on being part of the band because of financial need. That’s why the Enloe Band Boosters created a Financial Aid Fund to help families cover student fees or fair share payments, ensuring every student has the chance to participate in the Enloe High School Marching Band.
